Multiple use and single patient use.
- The humidifier consists of a cylindrical plastic canister/bottle, which holds up to 350 ml of water. The lid has a wing-nut style oxygen inlet port and a male outlet port for connection to standard oxygen tubing. Audible pressure relief is built into the lid. The gas passes from the inlet port through a tube and diffusor which is submerged in the water.
- Intended Purpose: A bubble-type humidifier intended to add humidity to oxygen delivered via a nasal cannula or oxygen mask for spontaneously breathing patient.
- Indications for Use: For patients who require humidification of supplemental breathing gases.
- Bottle top: Tan.
- Pressure Relief: 6 PSI (410 mbar).
- Oxygen Flow Rate: 6 LPM - 15 LPM.
- Wing Nut Adapter: DISS Oxygen Inlet Connector.
- Outlet Port Tapered Outlet Accepts Universal Supply Tubing End Connector, Humidity Output > 10 mg H2O/L
- Duration of Use:
- Home: Replace bubble humidifier every 90 days (3 months), or sooner if it malfunctions or unable to remove mineral deposits by cleaning.
- Hospital: Replace bubble humidifier every 14 days.
